Essex International Jamboree aims to support any international Scout or Guide Group attending through providing a supportive service. Team Global are here to assist with any questions and issues you have, some of the services provided include:
BuddyingWant to form a link with a group from the UK attending the Jamboree? This is an easy way to build a relationship with a UK Group, or gain support for equipment and catering. Team global will endeavour to put you in touch with a Group who wants to form an international relationship before the event.
Equipment HireArrange the hire of tents, tables, benches and cooking equipment prior to arrival at a sensible cost.
Days OutThe Jamboree programme will be full of activities to fill your week. However, should you wish to make alternative arrangements to travel to London, or another tourist location, Team Global will be happy to help you make the best arrangements.
HoHoIf you’re interested in extending your trip to the UK by staying with host families or by using Scout or Guide headquarters, Team Global will try to arrange this.
Visa ApplicationsIf you require a visa to enter the UK, and need support from the Jamboree to gain that visa, Team Global can provide a letter of intent to the Visa Issuing authority to support your application.
Travel ArrangementsTeam Global can support you with arranging transport to and from the Jamboree from the point of entry into the UK. There will be an additional cost for this service which will be advised on arrangement.
Food PurchaseEssex International Jamboree hopes to have some form of supermarket on site. However, if this is not the case, or as an additional support, we hope to be able to arrange a transport method to a nearby supermarket, and will help you with your food needs.
